The move follows an executive order signed by Trump in January, which RFK, President John F. Kennedy, and Reverend Dr. Martin Luther is calling for the dissolution of records related to King Jr.’s killings.
According to CBS News report, the document collection, RFK, incorporates various materials related to murder case. These include Sarahan’s individual handwritten notes, witnesses statements, photographic evidence from both crime sites and dead bodies, FBI documentation, photographic evidence that monitoring Sarahan’s movements before the incident, public letters sent to government officials about murder, and filing interactions with Siran’s relatives.
Senator Kennedy, a Democratic Presidential post of that time, was badly shot on June 5, 1968 after winning the Democratic Primary of California at Los Angeles Ambassador Hotel on 5 June 1968. Sarhan Sarhan was convicted of his murder and is currently serving a life sentence. However, RFK’s son, Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Junior has long raised doubts about Sirhan’s crime and welcomed the document release.
Kennedy Junior said in a statement, “Raising veil on RFK paper is an essential step towards restoring confidence in the US government.”
Gabbard, who led the contradiction of contradiction, said, “About 60 years after the tragic murder of Senator Robert F. Kennedy, the American people, for the first time, will get an opportunity to review the federal government investigation for the leadership of President Trump.”
While many files were transferred to the national archives decades ago, they were still inaccessible to the public. The newly issued materials include Memo, photographs of evidence, news clipping and handwritten notes of the FBI and Justice Department. Some records were first to be scanned in color due to streamlined issues in black and white versions.
Although it is unclear that there is an explosive revelation in these files, their release matches the Trump administration with extensive efforts to reduce the records bound by historical political events. Trump first President John F. The release of documents related to Kennedy’s 1963 murder was authorized and Dr. Had promised more revelations on King’s murder.
