After losing his match against nine wickets against Mumbai Indians, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) captain MS Dhoni was blindly upset.
Suryakumar Yadav won six, 43 -year -old, directly went on one of the umpires and an animated conversation was seen.
However, the reference to the conversation is unknown, but in the post -match presentation, Dhoni admitted that CSK was not quite good. CSK has lost 6 of its first 8 matches in IPL 2025 and the points are decreasing at the bottom of the table.
“I think we were quite low. We knew that dew would come in the game,” Dhoni said in the after the match.

“We wanted to exploit the middle overs. We felt that Bumrah, being one of the world’s best death bowlers, meant that once he started bowling his death, we should have had the pace with us.
“We had started going a little bit hard before we introduced Bumrah. We needed those runs because 175 never had an equal score at this site.”
Dhoni said that the moving approach is to secure a good play XI for the next match.
“I think we need to feel that to succeed, you need to play good cricket,” he said.
“We cannot be emotional about it. We should be practical. We need to see if we are playing the right form of cricket or not. We have dropped some catches tonight.
“We will take it a game at a time. Even if we lose something, we need to focus on the right combination for next year. We don’t want many players to change. We will try to make a playoff. If we can’t, we will look at a settled XI and try to be strong in the next season.”
CSK will face Sunrisers Hyderabad at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai next Friday.
