New Delhi: Punjab kings (Pbks) spinner Yuzvendra Chahal Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) Legend Sunil Narin’s record Four wickets During his match in Mulanpur on Tuesday in the history of the Indian Premier League (IPL).
Chahal’s brilliant magic of 4/28 helped Punjab Kings defend the total number of 111 runs in securing the 16 -run win over KKR.
Chahal’s match winning performance included important wickets of Ajinkya Rahane, Angkrish Raghuvanshi, Rinku Singh, and Ramandeep Singh, who were excluding KKR’s collapse from 62/2 to 95. This was his eighth four wickets in the IPL, matching the records of Narin.
Leg-spinner achieved another milestone by becoming the third most successful bowler against KKR with 33 wickets. This was his third four wickets against KKR, the highest by any bowler against a single rival in IPL history.
In the current IPL season, Chahal Six wickets in six matches and economy rate of 10.26 have been claimed at an average of 32.50. He has also crossed T20 Stallwarts Mohammad Nabi (369 wickets) and Mohammad Amir (366 wickets), which is the 11th most wicket -taking of the T20 history.
With 370 wickets in 318 matches, Chahal stands as India’s leading wicket in T20 cricket. Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan led the list of T20 wickets with 638 wickets in 468 matches.

In the match, PBK chose to bat first after winning the toss. Priyash Arya (12 runs 12) and Prabhasimran Singh (15 runs 15 runs) made a strong start with a 39 -run partnership.
However, Harshit Rana’s impressive bowling (3/25) and Ramandip Singh’s outstanding fielding limited PBK to 54/4 in Powerplay. Sunil Narin (2/14) and Varun Chakravarti (2/21) kept pressure for 111 in 15.3 overs, dismissing PBK.
In response, KKR’s chase Chahal (4/28) and Marco Jansen (3/17) derailed with extraordinary bowling. Despite Angkarish Raghuvanshi’s 37 Ruk 28 and Andre Russell’s Quick 17, KKR was excluded for 95 in 15.1 overs.
Jeet stored Punjab Kings fourth, with four points with four wins and two defeats. KKR finished sixth with six points, won three and lost four matches.
