‘Serial-offenders’ Pakistan again fined for the same crime in the New Zealand ODI series. Cricket news

New Delhi: Pakistan has been assigned another fine for a slow over-rate, a forgotable ODI series with their third in several matches, a 3–0 whitewash against New Zealand.
Mohammad Rizwan -led side was fined five percent of his match fee after third ODI in Mount Munggui, where he was considered less than the target after time allowance. This approval was implemented by the match referee Jeff Crowe ICC Elite panel.

This frequent crime reflects the ongoing struggles with Pakistan’s on-field discipline, as he was also fined in the first two matches of the series.

According to Article 2.22 of the ICC Code of Conduct, teams are punished by five percent of the match fee at least.
Rizwan accepted the charge without a formal hearing, with on-field umpires Chris Brown and Paul Refel, third umpire Michael Guff and fourth umpire Wayne Nights.
The penalty makes a clean sweep in Pakistan’s crises and in the ODI maple after a 4–1 defeat in the previous T20I series, which raises more questions about leadership and execution before the upcoming assignment.
