twice Grand Slam winner Rafael Nadal, who retired last November after a Davis Cup tie in Malaga, revealed that he did not get his time in court. Nadal was honored with prestigious on Monday Sporting icon award At the Lares World Sports Awards in Madrid.
Nadal told reporters, “The truth is that I don’t miss tennis. Zero. I don’t miss it at all.”
“But not because I did not finish the fight against tennis or did not complete the fight against tennis. At all. I did not please my career, and if I could, I would move forward, because I loved what I was doing. It was my passion, and it’s all over life.
“This is just that when you find that physically you can’t do it more … You try to close that chapter. And I closed it,” he said.
Rafael Nadal admitted that he pulled his retirement.
Who is that IPL player?
He said, “I delayed my final decision because I needed time to ensure that it was right. What was difficult to sit on my couch if I should try to play,” he said.
“When I saw that my body was not going to recover to the level that I needed to enjoy myself in court, I decided to stop.
Nadal said, “That’s why I don’t miss it. Because I ended with peace of mind that I have given it everything, and that no one else can give my body,” Nadal said.
