Mumbai: When he asked Mumbai for a no object certificate (NOC) to switch from Mumbai to Goa, he made a pulsation, India’s opening batsman Yashsvi Jaiswal took a complete U-turn. Jaiswal now wants to play for Mumbai again. The 23 year old has written an email Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) to withdraw his NOC and said it is available to represent Mumbai for the next domestic season.“I request you to consider my request to take myself back to my NOC because I had some family plans to shift to Goa, which has been closed for now! So I honestly request MCA to allow me to play for Mumbai in this season! Goa Cricket Association, “Jaiswal wrote to MCA in email, one copy is with TOI.However, it could have taken some time before the Mumbai Cricket Association decided to return him. “We confirm their NOC with BCCI and Goa Cricket Association,” an MCA source told TOI.“They have written us an email. Now we will raise their email in our next Apex Council meeting, and take a decision accordingly. As it is, the conditions of the current Cricket Reform Committee and the Mumbai Senior Selection Committee will end on 31 May.
In April, Jaiswal left MCA officials when he demanded NOC to go to Goa citing personal reasons for going to Goa. If Jaiswal had proceeded with his plan to represent Goa, he would have played the choice of the players of Arjun Tendulkar and Siddhesh Lad- Mumbai who have played for Goa.Busy with his India’s commitments, Jaiswal could have turned only one match for Mumbai in the Ranji Trophy last season, scoring 4 and 26 in the five -wicket defeat for Jammu and Kashmir at MCA Ground in Mumbai in January this year.
