Yash asks for blessings in the temple in Ujjain as he starts shooting for Ramayana: Report |

The much awaited film Ramayana directed by Nitesh Tiwari is one of the biggest projects of Indian cinema. The film has discussed a lot due to its influential actors, including Yash, Ranbir Kapoor, Sunny Deol and Sai Pallavi. In an exciting update, Yash, who is also co-producing the film with nominated Malhotra, will begin shooting his role as Ravana this week in Mumbai.
Temple tour before shoot
According to a report published in Pinkvilla, after completing a major program toxicYash is now ready to start filming for Ramayana under the direction of Nitesh Tiwari in Mumbai. Before starting his journey on the film, Yash will visit the Sri Mahakaleshwar temple in Ujjain, which will take place after its tradition of starting every new project with a visit to the temple. For this program, Yash will focus on shooting its single scenes, and manufacturers have created a special setup to welcome the Pan-India Star.A technical spectacle
The Ramayana is being designed as a technical spectacle, the manufacturers plan to film some blind grand scenes characterized by fame in the first schedule. They hope to shoot their share from the end of April for about a month before returning to the toxic. The epic presented in two parts, Diwali is set to be released on 2026 and Diwali 2027.

Facing epic between Ram and Ravana
Ravana and Ranbir Kapoor will showcase an epic clash between Ramayana Yash. Sunny Deol is expected to attend the shooting in June, playing the role of Lord Hanuman. The film is produced by DNEG in collaboration with Yash’s Monster Mind Creation. Yash, as a co-producer, has also been deeply involved in the creative process of this grand cinematic venture.
Yash’s Big Box Office Return
After the blockbuster success of KGF and KGF 2, Yash is set to have a toxic release at the box office in 2026 and to have a double impact with Ramayana in October. Both films have been planned as global projects, with toxic shoots in Kannada and English to reach international audiences.
