The top official Colin Carroll Third of Pentagon should be sent on holiday amid investigation into leaks

A third senior Pentagon officer has been placed on administrative leave, which is amidst the ongoing investigation of the information leak in the department.

Fox News Digital quoted a senior official as saying, “We can confirm that Mr. Carol has been placed on a pending investigation. We have nothing extra to provide at this time.”
Who is Colin Carroll?
Carroll is a US Marine Corps Intelligence Officer, and earlier worked in a defense contractor Enduril Industries, who specializes in autonomous systems, according to his LinkedIn Profile. He also worked for California -based software company Applied Intension.
A graduate from the United States Naval Academy, he was sent to Afghanistan four times as part of Operation Enduring Freedom. His educational credentials include an aerospace engineering degree from the Naval Academy and a master’s degree from the Walsh School of Foreign Service at the University of Georgatown.
Pentagon leaks case
Last month, the Defense Department, headquarters at the Pentagon Building at Washington DC, launched an investigation into “recent unauthorized revelations of national security information”.
The Chief of Staff of Hegseth, which Casper wrote in a memo of March 21, “This investigation will begin immediately and will end in a report to the Defense Secretary. The report will include a complete record of unauthorized revelations within the Defense Department and the recommendations to improve such efforts.”
