Cologne: More than 20,000 inhabitants were being extracted from the city center of Cologne on Wednesday, as experts designed to define three unexplained American bombs from World War II who were uncontrolled earlier this week.Even 80 years after the end of the war, the bomb dropped during the time of war is often found in Germany.Their disposal sometimes enters a large-scale precautionary withdrawal as one on Wednesday, although this time the location was unusually prominent and it is Cologne’s largest withdrawal since 1945. There has been a huge withdrawal in other cities. On Wednesday morning, officials began to vacate about 20,500 residents from an area within the 1,000 meter (3,280-foot) radius of bombs, who were discovered during the preparation for road construction on Monday. They were found in Deutz district across the Rhine River from the historic center of Cologne.Along with houses, the area includes 58 hotels, nine schools, several museums and office buildings and mess/deutz train stations. It also includes three bridges across the Rhine – the heavy used Hhenjolarn railway bridge, which goes to the Central Station in Colon and is being closed during the defuse work itself. Shipping on Rhine will also be suspended. The plan is to define bombs during the day. When this actually happens, it depends on how much time it takes to the authorities to ensure that everyone is outside the withdrawal area.
