Is Ibrahim Ali Khan’s sarzmin being released in May? , Hindi film news

After a challenging start with Nadaniyan, Ibrahim Ali Khan is set to return to the big screen with his upcoming film Sarzmin. The close sources of ETIIMES share that the manufacturers have closed for the dramatic release of the film at the end of May 2025. This is Ibrahim’s first release in theaters after Nadaniyan’s digital premiere on Netflix in March.
Nadaniyan, a romantic comedy manufactured by Karan Johar, depicted Ibrahim with Khushi Kapoor. Despite the discussion around the start of Star Kids, the film received mixed reviews for its performance, writing and overall tone. While Ibrahim showed the promise, critics said that the film lacked freshness and emotional depth.
Along with Sarzmin, Ibrahim is aiming to shift Gears. director Kayoz IraniThe film is a hard-hitting drama against the background of terrorism in Kashmir. Ibrahim plays an important role as an army officer, in which experienced actors Kajol and Prithviraj Sukumaran have lended weight to the artists. Patriotic drama was initially monitored on a Republic Day release, but a quality was postponed to ensure the final product. The month of May, with some large-ticket release, offers a clear runway to Surizhemin at the box office. Serzmen was considered Ibrahim’s first film before Nadaniyan in 2023, in 2023 Sara Ali Khan confirmed that Ibrahim had completed shooting for her first film.
Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions has recently shown increasing interest in patriotic narratives, with Kesari: Chapter 2 also on the horizon. Akshay Kumar, Ananya Pandey, and R. Madhavan starring, the film Raghu and Pushpa Palat are inspired by The Case that Hila The Empire.
