In an old interview with Bollywood Hungama, Rajesh Khanna shared his belief that his grandson Aarav films would have the next big superstars. He said that Aarav will take talent, hard work and dedication seen in his family.

In 2024, Akshay opened Shikhar Dhawan’s talk show Dhawan Karenet about his son Aarav. He shared that Aarav is currently studying at a university in London and leaving home at the age of 15. Although Akshay did not want him to go, he respected Aarav’s decision – especially since he himself left home at the age of 14.

The actor further shared that Aarav lives independently-to wash his clothes, cook, wash, and even to buy clothes from a thrift store to the other hand, as he dislikes waste. Akshay mentioned that he never pressured him. Aarav is interested in fashion and has clearly stated that he does not want to join the film industry, which Akshay fully supports.

Tewinkle’s role praised in parenting
He also praised his wife Twinkle Khanna how he had raised Aarav. He said, “I am happy how Twinkle and I have brought Aarav; he is a very simple boy.” He added with a smile that his daughter, NitaraIs quite opposite and loves clothes.
