Famous climate activist, Gita Thunberg, was excluded from Israel from Israel on Tuesday, who was detained along with other activists aboard Gaza-Bound Ed Boat, Madleen. On arriving at Charles de Gaul Airport in Paris, Thunberg spoke about the situation, called Israel’s action “kidnapping” and “intentional violation of rights”. He insisted that when his experience was disturbing, it was compared to the strict circumstances faced by the people in Palestine, especially in Gaza. He said, “The circumstances that we have faced in Palestine and especially through Gaza are nothing compared to,” he said, urged his supporters to take action.Thunberg’s exile comes in the wake of Israeli military forces stopping the ship in international water, with an action that he has condemned as a violation of rights.Thunberg, who has traveled by air for years to reduce his carbon footprint, reported that the mission aims to provide humanitarian aid to Gaza. “We knew well about the risks of this mission,” he said. “The purpose was to be able to go to Gaza and distribute assistance.” He forced to give up his disappointment, but said, “Why would I like to stay in an Israeli jail?”Along with its exile, the Freedom Flotila alliance stated that three activists, including Thunberg, were expelled, while others had chosen to face and face legal proceedings in Israel. Thunberg called for the release of the remaining workers, advocating his right to continue his journey to help. He urged governments around the world to allow them to allow humanitarian assistance and recognize Palestine as an important step towards reducing the ongoing humanitarian crisis. The Israeli Foreign Ministry announced the exile of Thunberg, which took place after seizing Madeline, about 200 km from the banks of Gaza. Israel justified its actions, stating that the ship was trying to dissolve a legitimate naval blockade, disputed by human rights groups and legal advocates who argue that international water interruption is a violation of international law.Thunberg’s presence on the ship, which included a diverse group of activists from various countries, aims to highlight the human crisis from the ongoing struggle. “This is still another intentional violation of rights that have been added to the list of countless other violations that are Israel,” he said. He further emphasized the immediate need for humanitarian aid and ended the systemic harassment faced by Palestinians, saying that it is “very, very, very, minimal” to recognize Palestine that governments can do for assistance.
