Andre Russell broke two fours and one six to push KKR near a 200-mark, but visitors lost three wickets in several balls in the final, in which Stark dramatically picked up two.
Mitchell Starc (3/43) took three wickets for the hosts, while spinner Exer 2/27 and Nigam (2/41) stuck with two wickets with two wickets.
