New Delhi: Despite a rare failure with the bat during the 12 -run loss of Delhi Capital for Mumbai Indians, KL Rahul won the heart with a gesture after the match which quickly went viral.
Star DC Batter, who scored just 15 runs in high scoring clash at Arun Jaitley Stadium on Sunday, made time for fans in wheelchairs after the match.

In a video shared by Delhi Capital, under the title “This is KL Rahul”, the cricketer is seen posing to sign a photo, waving, high-faving supporters and autographs-a moment-a moment that hit a deep emotional cord with fans.

This was DC’s first domestic game of the 2025 IPL season, and defeat also ended his four -match winning streak. Rahul entered the match in the red-hot form, scored an unbeaten 93 against Royal Challengers Bangalore and 77 against Chennai Super Kings. But when the bat did not talk on Sunday, his actions away from the field spoke the volume.
Capital decreased while chasing 206, in which the chase ended in dramatic fashion-three runs off by Jaspreet Bumrah in three balls.
Nevertheless, even in defeat, Rahul’s kindness became the main attraction – reminiscent of the human side of the game.
