However, it is not just her acting that keeps the late actress alive in the hearts of millions. Nargis, as recalled by Bollywood’s veteran star Wahida Rehman, was the ‘most hospitable person’.

In a conversation with us, Wahida Rehman recalled Nargis Dutt on the anniversary of his death and shared, “She was like an elder sister. Sunil Dutt Saab, Nargisji, and his Ajanta congregation often used to go to borders to entertain our soldiers. I was a happy member for that entertainment.”
The actress said, “Nargis ji looked at us like her family. He was the most hostile person I ever have known. When we are traveling together, she will ensure that every person, no matter how big or small, is,” the actress said.

He further shared how these two beautiful souls were not found often, but whenever they crossed the path, it was an encounter to remember. “She was very busy with all the charitable tasks that she did. I was busy with my career. But yes, whenever we met, it was always a pleasure. When I was shooting with Dutt Saab for Reshma and Shera, Nargis ji took care of the entire artists and crew.”
He concluded the conversation on the most cute note. He said, “There were many things that I praised Nargisji. But do you know what I have praised the most? Sunil Dutt Saab.”
She said, “He was a dedicated husband. God should give every woman to her husband like her,” she said, highlighted the most beautiful bond shared between Nargis and Sunil Dutt.
