70 Pro-Awami League lawyers lodged in jail, 2024 faced allegations of attacks on anti-boat protests

Dhaka: On Sunday, a court in Dhaka sent 70 lawyers going to jail for his support for the Awami League party to face allegations of "attacks" and "attempt to murder" during last year's collective rebellion, which fell into the government of PM Sheikh Hasina.Court officials said that the metropolitan session of Dhaka Mohammad Zakir Hussain ordered the lawyers to be sent to jail after appearing on the dock with bail.
