Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) Spinner Varun chakravarti A controversial “no-ball” call has been questioned during Mumbai Indians vs. Sunrisers Hyderabad Match on Wankhed stadium On Thursday.
At the seventh place of the match, Mumbai Indians opener Ryan Ryyan Ricelton was rejected by leg-spinner Zeeshan Ansari, in which Pat Cummins took an easy catch on the cover.
However, the play came out when the fourth umpire stopped Ricelton near the border rope, and delivery was called no-ball.
The third umpire found that wicketkeeper Henrik Klassen had his gloves in front of the stump when the ball contacted the bat. Ricelton found a free-hit, but failed to capitalize on it.
The decision of the third umpire was not appreciated by Varun Chakraborty.
“If the keeper’s gloves come in front of the stumps, it should be a warning for a dead ball and the keeper so that he does not do it again !!! Not No-Ball and a free hit !! What did the bowler do? He wrote on X.

However, Ricelton was rejected in the next over as Harshal Patel betrayed him with slow delivery. He scored 31 runs off 23 balls.
Mumbai Indians defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad by six wickets, leaving eleven balls.
