Usman Tariq, an off-spinner of the Pakistan Super League T20 team Quetta Gladiators, was informed for a suspected bowling action during a match against Lahore Kalandars in Rawalpindi on Sunday, where on-field umpires Ahsan Raza and Chris Brown identified their action.
Tariq bowled his four overs in the match against Kalandars, with a Finish with 1-31 figures as Quetta lost by 79 runs.

Earlier in the tournament, Tariq gave an impressive performance against Peshawar Zalmi, with Quetta’s 80-run win 2–26.
The Pakistan Cricket Board said in a statement, “According to the rules, Usman may continue to bowl in future (PSL) matches.” “However, if he is re-informed, he will be suspended from bowling and the bowling will need to get a clearance from an ICC-recognized laboratory before starting.”
This is not the first brush of Tariq with a bowling action check. Last year, he faced similar reports during Quetta’s match against Karachi Kings at the same place, making the franchise voluntarily withdraw him from the tournament.
Tariq later tested an ICC-charged laboratory in Lahore in August, which approved his bowling action. Then he participated in a domestic tournament without any other issue.
