US Visa News: Gaza’s visit after 2007 can make you unqualified for US visa

If you have visited Gaza after 2007, you will be examined by American visa authorities.

Indian scholar Badar Khan Suri was arrested by the Donald Trump administration due to his alleged Hamas connection. His wife’s father was a former Hamas advisor, and he met in Gaza in 2011 when Suri went to Gaza as part of an international convoy – Jamia Millia as a student of Islamia University.
Now, no one can meet Badar Khan Suri’s fate, even if they are not associated with any Hamas advisor, but if they visit Gaza after January 1, 2007, as the Trump administration recently ordered a social media vetting for all American visa applicants who have been in Gaza strip since this time. A report by Reuters states that this is the latest push to tighten the screening of foreign students.
In 2007, there was a brief civil war between Fatah and Hamas in the Gaza Patti, when Fatah lost to the 2006 Palestinian legislative election.
The cable said that the order to operate social media for all immigrant and non-immigrant visas should be included in non-governmental organization workers as well as individuals who have been in the Hamas-Sasted Enclave for any length in official or diplomatic capacity.
Cable said, “If the review of social media results highlight the potential derogatory information related to safety issues, an SAO should be submitted,” the cable said a security advisory opinion, which said, which is a difference to determine whether the visa applicant raises national security risk for the United States.
The cable dated on 17 April was signed by the Secretary of State Marco Rubio, who said at the end of March that he had already canceled more than 300 visas.

When Marco Rubio said that making America safe means cancellation of visa in case of danger

Recently in an opinion piece for Fox News, Marco Rubio explained why the Trump administration is focusing so much on the cancellation of students’ visas. He said that visiting America is not an eligibility, it is a privilege for those who respect American laws and values.
He wrote, “The US visa holders should know without any uncertain words that the rigorous security of the US government does not end after the visa is given.”
“As the Secretary of State, I will continue to exercise their rights to support President Trump for foreign nationals to support the zero-oppression approach that ends terrorist organizations or participate in activities that endanger our national security or compromise a compelling foreign policy interest,” he said.
