At the age of 67, Sunny Deol is proving that age is just a number. As he is ready for the release of his upcoming action drama JatOn 10 April, hitting theaters, the experienced actor opened about his fitness, discipline, and why he still does his stunts.
At a clear moment with Etimes, Deol said, “I have not really thought about how old I am. I am basically a game man. I have always been in the game, weight training came later. I take life like a game – I take life like a game – it’s just the same as I am.”
Known for its raw intensity and materiality on the screen, Deol continues to maintain the heritage in Jat where he has allegedly demonstrated all his stunts. Talking about his fitness regime and upbringing, he shared, “Since childhood, we were used to wake up early – if we didn’t, we slapped! So there is a habit of waking up at 5 or 6 o’clock. We have always been to stay fit.”
The fans will remember his prestigious “Dhai Kuch Hath” dialogue from the 90s, which symbolizes cruel strength. But when asked if this power has increased over time, DOL humbly replied, “It’s not about 2.5 kg of hath. It’s about how you portray your role and character’s strength. If truth is, you can do anything.”
