As a vote of Canada, Donald Trump Dangles ‘Zero Tariff’ proposal: ‘Agar …’

While millions of Canadians put their ballots today, US President Donald Trump put himself into the mixture with offering to leave a jaw. He said that Canada could have “zero tariffs” and “free access” without any limit – if it would become “dear 51st state”.
In a hurry to social media posts, Trump said that the US can now “subsidize Canada with hundreds of billions of billions of dollars per year” until it officially becomes a part of the United States.

His comments shook the election discourse, reviving the debate on criticism and sovereignty of Canadian leaders.
Conservative leader Pierre Poilevere clearly said, “President Trump, stay out of our election,” he wrote on X. “Canada will always be proud, sovereign and independent and we will never be the 51st state.”
Mark Carney, liberal Party Leader and Governor of former Central Bank, also jumped on Trump’s words, said that America “wants to break us under Trump, so they can have us.” Carney has promised to strengthen Canada’s domestic trade and international partnership to cut dependence on his southern neighbor.
Fought in large parts on issues such as Canadian elections, housing, crime and increasing cost of living, suddenly assumed international implications. The Parliament requires 172 with 343 seats and to secure the majority, in today’s result it will be to say how Canada responds to the growing pressure from Washington.
About 29 million Canadians can vote, already voting early with a record 7.3 million. The result will not only determine a government – it can chart Canada’s response to Trump’s Brezen’s proposal.
