Olympic Council of Asia and Anagock Nagoya is preparing two major meetings in Japan, focusing on it 20th Asian Games It is scheduled for 2026. Asian Games 2026 are scheduled to be held from 19 September to 4 October in Achi and Nagoya provinces of Japan.

Cricket and mixed martial arts were formally approved at the 41st Anagock Board of Directors meeting at Nagoya City Hall on 28 April. MMA will start its Asian Games with six events under Combat Sports with Kurash and Jujitsu.
The site of cricket will be located in the Aichi province, with the T20 format that generates special interest due to its upcoming inclusion at the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics. It marks the first Olympic presence of cricket in Paris since 1900, where Great Britain defeated France.
South Asian teams dominate cricket in the last Asian Games. Bangladesh won Sri Lanka gold in 2014 in 2014 and men in India in 2022, when it fielded several T20 stars including Ruturaj Gikwad and Yashsvi Jiswal. Afghanistan earned silver medals in all three editions. India also won gold in women’s cricket in 2022, while Pakistan topped the women’s podium in both 2010 and 2014.
