Lucknow: What started as a road accident, quickly turned into a scene of chaos and greed, as the villagers looted refined oil from a overturned tanker on the Varanasi-Chalavv National Highway in Amati district on Tuesday morning.The incident occurred near Kathora village under Kamrauli police station area when a sharp tanker, route from Sultanpur to Lucknow, lost control and overturned. In Barbanki, the driver, known as Ramraj, son of Ram Milan of Bahadurpur Haidergarh, was seriously injured in the accident.However, after which many people suffered a shock: instead of running to help the injured man, the score of the villagers is not with the score scene but to rob the sophisticated oil spreading along the compartments, buckets and barrels as well as the barrels.A viral video captured the frenzy, in which the villagers scooped oil from the roadside mud, while the tanker overturned.
