After the success of Bhool Chuk Maaf, Rajkummar Rao is ready to surprise the audience with a new avatar in his upcoming film Malik. In a special chat with Etimes, the versatile actor opened the project, his character, and cooperated with the director Pulkit, called it one of the most exciting experiences of his career. The producers only released the teaser of the film, which received a very heavy response, it is slaughtered to re -receive it on 11 July. “I am very thrilled for Malik,” Rajkumar revealed, visually excited about the film. “I am very, very excited. This is a very new style for me. I have not done anything like this in my career till date.”Known for his compelling performance in films in styles–from deep plays like Shahid and Bareilly’s Barfi, stuck for slic-of-life entertainers-like-Rajkumar shared that stepping into this gritty, both challenging and beneficial. “I had a lot of fun playing it,” he said. I had a great experience of making a full film and playing this role. ,Talking about his character, he said, “Playing the role of Malik, which is so difficult, the raw man – who is so powerful, so strong … I am talking about both physical and emotional power – I had a great time.”Praising the film’s director, Rajkumar did not return his praise. “Pulkit is an unprecedented manufacturer,” he said. “He is a great combination of keeping it real but commercial – the kind of cinema I like to see.”He further explained how Pulkit’s vision beautifully balances realism with the cinematic scale. “It is very reliable in nature, but it is still so impressive, so powerful. The way he designed the story in action sequences, whole arch and film … so I had a great time.”As an expectation makes for Malik, it is clear that Rajkumar Rao is some fierce, raw and emotionally rapidly on the table – and fans have every reason to get excited.
