Chennai’s Super Kings off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin, during Tuesday’s match against Punjab Kings, overtook Bhuvneshwar Kumar, who took the third biggest wicket for the third biggest wicket in the history of the Indian Premier League, claiming two wickets that he reached a total of 185 wickets in his IPL career.
Ashwin’s milestone came when he took 2/48 in his four -over spell, although his team eventually lost the match by 18 runs. The 38 -year -old has submitted his 185 wickets in 217 matches of 29.92 and the best bowling figures of 4/34 at the rate of 7.18.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar, who is known for his swing bowling, is now ranked fourth in the all -time list with 184 wickets out of 179 matches. The 35 -year -old, with the best figure of 5/19 career in IPL, maintains an average of 27.28 and the economy rate 7.57.
