Alexander Box Office Collection Day 6: Salman Khan starrer Hits New Low; Earns Rs 3.75 crore on Friday.

Salman Khan’s much awaited action drama Alexander is losing steam at the domestic box office, registering its lowest daily collection on day 6. The film earned an estimated Rs 3.75 crore on Friday, which declined a sharp decline and the initial box office predictions.
It was released on Sunday to match with Eid holiday, Alexander opened with a promising Rs 26 crore. The collections were at the peak on Eid, touching 29 crores. However, the speed began to fade quickly. The film saw an earnings of Rs 19.5 crore on Tuesday, which reached Rs 9.75 crore on Wednesday and increased to Rs 6 crore on Thursday.
By the end of its first week, the film’s domestic collection was about Rs 90.25 crore, according to the trade tracker Sacnilk. Apart from Friday’s data, Alexander has now reached an estimated Rs 94 crore at the Indian box office.
Those who monitor the industry are closely monitoring the film’s weekend performance to see if it can cross a milestone of Rs 100 crore. Despite the declining trend, the film’s production house is optimistic. According to a post on his official X (East Twitter) handle, Alexander allegedly crossed Rs 100 crore on Eid day, claiming a global gross of Rs 105.89 crore. His most recent update keeps the film’s 5-day worldwide gross for Rs 169.78 crore, thanking fans for their support: “You have filled theaters and our hearts. Thank you for making #Sikandar so special.”
Nevertheless, now tapped with domestic collections, Alexander is in danger of becoming one of Salman Khan’s underperforming release in recent years. The film’s box office trajectory is a rapid opposite with Vicky Kaushal’s shadow, which is close to Rs 600 crore after the 50-day run.
The next few days will be important in determining that Alexander can retrieve the speed or continue the slide on its bottom.
