Stephen Fleming broke silence, believes that CSK went wrong in IPL auction

New Delhi: Chennai Super Kings (CSK) head coach Stephen Fleming admitted that the team 2025 did not succeed in the Indian Premier League (IPL) auction, but admitted that such results are part of the process. Taking responsibility for the poor season of CSK, Fleming urged the players to increase their performance levels. The knock by Harshal Patel for a four -wicket race and the knock with Ishan Kishan and Kamindu Mendis helped Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) to win five wickets over CSK.
Fleming said in a post -match press conference, “Other teams have become better, and this is a matter of auction. But we have not been able to correct it.
He pointed to an uncertain attitude as a mixture of injuries, lack of form and the major reasons behind the team’s struggles. Fleming also admitted that CSK might have been chasing solutions that were not present.
“This is an area where we need to reflect and say that it was not as good as it could have been, or it has not worked how we wanted. Some important injuries, just a lack of a little form.
While reflecting the latest defeat of CSK, Fleming said that the game reflected their weather overall. He was encouraged with the intentions shown by the batsmen, but he said that the team had played with a lot of tens of, leading to his ability to pressurize the opponents.
He said, “The game is like a season. I felt that today with the bat is a better intention, and this is something we are looking for, just to free. We are stressful, so we are not pressurizing the bowlers and losing wickets too,” he said.
With this win, SRH is at the eighth place on the points table with three wins and six defeats, mixing six points. Meanwhile, CSK lives at the bottom, only two wins in nine matches and only four points of their names.
