Jealous over husband Anand Ahuja’s college experience
In a recent interview with Vogue, the actress admitted that she feels guilty of not chasing higher education. She shared that she never went to college, while her husband Anand Ahuja studied at Wharton, University of Pennsylvania. Sonam also shared that she is saving her son Vayu for education, expecting her best opportunities. He expressed his desire to become a reader, saying that reading helps in making compassion. Recalling a visit to her husband Anand Ahuja’s Alma Mater, Wharton at the University of Pennsylvania, she admitted that this was the first time she felt jealousy.
In the same interview, Sonam revealed a bizarre description about her son Vayu – she has raised her habit of examining the Air Quality Index (AQI) before going out. He shared that if AQI is poor, Vayu prefers to stay indoors, in the same way.

He also explained how motherhood saw a sense of surprise in her life. Before the birth of Vayu, he accepted to feel in the industry, but his having a sense of idealism has returned. Sonam expressed his desire to understand her son’s thoughts and experiences and said, “I want to walk in her shoes-you don’t know what a two-year-old child is thinking-so I can be a better parent.”
