US: Illinois man sentenced to 53 years in jail to stab 6-year-old Palestinian-American child

A 73-year-old landlord of Illinois has been sentenced to 53 years in jail for a six-year-old Palestinian-American child’s deadly stab and seriously injured.
BBC News reported that in February, Joseph Kazuba was found guilty of hating crimes and attacking his mother Hanan Shaheen in 2023 for murder and murder of Wade Alfayumi.
The victims were living as tenants in Czuba property at Planfield, about 64 km from Chicago. The prosecution established that he attacked him because of his Islamic belief.
Despite not being guilty, a jury reached a guilty decision in less than 90 minutes.
In Friday’s court proceedings, Mahmood Yusaf, the great uncle of Wadi Alfayumi, said that no punishment was stated by NBC News, no punishment can adequately address the death of the child.

The evidences presented include pictures of the disturbing crime site, and the police testimony described discovering Czuba outside the property with blood covering their bodies and hands.
This fatal attack attracted nationwide attention and exposed concerns about Islamophobia, anti -Muslim discrimination and Palestinian spirit.
The young victim celebrated his sixth birthday shortly before his death.
