High security warning in j&K

New Delhi: A 45 -year -old social worker was injured on Sunday after a 45 -year -old social worker was shot by suspected militants in Kupwara district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Known as worker Ghulam Rasool MagreIn Kandi Khas area, he was attacked late Saturday night inside his residence.
He was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. Officials said the motive behind the attack is still not clear.
Shooting comes at a time when security has increased valley After the deadly terrorist attack in Pahalgam on 22 April. In the incident, 26 people were killed when terrorists set fire to Basaron Meadows, a popular tourist destination in the picturesque city of Pahgam.
The Pahgam attack has been described as one of the most deadly terror attacks in Jammu and Kashmir since the 2019 Pulwama bombing, killing 40 CRPF personnel.
It is one of the largest attacks in the region since the cancellation of Article 370.
Security forces in the valley remain on high alert.
