‘Silence for Silence, Strikes for Strike’: Zelansky says

Volodymyr zelenskyy and Vladimir Putin

Ukraine President Volodimier Zelansky announced the “mirror” of Russia after his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin announced the Easter ceasefire.
Zelancesi wrote on X, “If Russia is now ready to engage in the format of suddenly completely complete and unconditional silence, Ukraine will work accordingly – reflecting Russia’s functions. Silent in response to silence, defensive strikes in response to silence.”
He also proposed that the Trus can be extended beyond the Easter day, holding a complete ceasefire. This, the Ukrainian leader said, will reveal the “true intentions” of Russia.
Zelancesi explained, “30 hours is enough to make headlines, but not for real confidence-making measures. Thirty days can give a chance to peace.”
He also called Moscow for not responding to the same proposal for his 30-day full and unconditional Trus.
Moscow, Zelancesi said, “he manipulates well,” and therefore, the words coming from there should not be trusted. For this, he indicated what he described as the operation of Russia’s ongoing attack on several frontline areas.
Putin’s ceasefire declares at a time when the United States warns that it can “walk away from its push” to make a peace deal between Russia and Ukraine, until some progress is made soon.
Air Ride Siren in Kyiv
Meanwhile, despite the onset of Easter Trus, on Saturday evening, Ukraine’s capital, Keev, looked air-red sirens.
The news agency AFP said an air-red alert message had asked Kiev residents to move forward for shelters and sirens and Siren was heard shortly before 10:00 pm (1900 GMT) as the Air Force warned of “missile threat” in the surrounding Kiev area.
