Shreyas Iyer: ‘Personally, I had a chat with Yuzvendra Chahal’

New Delhi: Punjab kings Royal Challengers Bangalore won five wickets in a rain-verse Indian Premier League match on Friday. With this win, PBK climbed second on the points table with 10 points, which so far won five of their seven matches.
The 14-Over-Over-Side competition was first posted by Chhota-RCB for nine due to batting-evening shower. Tim David accused just 26 balls for attacking 50 to 50. However, the RCB struggled to move to the rest of the batting lineup.
In response, Punjab easily chased the target, reaching 96 in 12.1 overs. Nehal Wadhera played an important hand by scoring 33 runs in 19 delivery. Despite a commendable magic from Josh Hazlewood, which ended with 3/14 figures, the RCB could not stop the Punjab batsmen from hovering.
After the match, PBKS captain Shreyas Iyer praised his team’s adaptability and easy decision making.
“As he says diversity is the spice of life. We are able to experience all kinds of sports here. It is a big challenge. There was no thinking of being honest. I was taking a simple step and obviously we were taking wickets. He said that he helped him to be honest.

Do you think Punjab Kings will maintain their strong looks in the upcoming matches?

“When I had a chat with Arshdeep, he said, it was very difficult to hit the hard length balls on this wicket, as I dropped a single six -fat bowler down the ground. It was nonsense and he was fantastic to perform it.
“Personally I had a chat with Chahal. I told him that you are a match winner and you need to get as much wickets as possible. You do not need to be safe in your evaluation and have the ability to bounce back. We appreciate him as a leggie. Perhaps he is the best bowler in the IPL.
