Top Stock to buy or sell today – check the stock recommendations for Sargama, Jio Finn and Power Grid – 16 April 2025

Stock market recommendations: According to Mehul Kothari, DVP – Technical Research, Anand Rathi shares and stock brokers, Sargama and Jio Financial Services are the top stock to buy today, while the power grid is a selling call:
Saregama Ltd: Buy in ₹ 533–527 range | Stop Loss: ₹ 498 | Target: ₹ 590
Saregama has been maintaining and consolidating its 200 DEMA for the past few weeks, indicating strength in the ongoing trend.
Stock has now given a clear breakout from its consolidation range, which creates a classic inverted head and shoulder pattern, usually indicating a rapid upsurge.
Additionally, there is a breakout from the falling trendline, further strengthens the speed of speed.
Traders are advised to buy SAREGAMA in SAR 533-527 range, with a stop-loss at ₹ 498, a target for the opposite target of ₹ 590 in the coming weeks in the coming weeks
JioFin: Buy in ₹ 236–230 range. Stop Loss: ₹ 223 | Target: ₹ 253
After months of consolidation, Jio Financial Services have finally given a breakout above 235, indicating the onset of a new uptrend.
A double bottom formation appears at 203 level, which provides a strong inverted signal.
Additionally, we are looking at a breakout in daily RSI with a positive crossover in ADX (14), both have supported the approach of further fast.
Traders are advised to buy JioFin in ₹ 236–230 range, with a stop-loss at ₹ 223, target for the opposite target of ₹ 253 in short term
Power Grid: Sell futures below ₹ 304. Stop Loss: ₹ 310 | Target: ₹ 292
The power grid has rally rally with its recent lower level ₹ 247, but now shows signs of tiredness.
The stock is currently stuck near 200 Dema, which is acting as a strong resistance area. We are also seeing negative deviations in daily RSI, which indicate weak speed. With a rally showing signs of saturation, some benefits booking is expected to be at current levels.
Traders are advised to sell power grid futures below Power 304, with a stop-loss at ₹ 310, target ₹ 292 in the near period.
