New Delhi: Malayalam actor Shine Tom Chacko met on Friday morning with a car accident in Palkode, Tamil Nadu. The car allegedly entered a truck. His father, CP Chacko died on the spot, while the actor suffered injuries and is currently undergoing treatment in a hospital. Earlier, Shine Tom Chacko's name was revealed in relation to a drug case under investigation by the Excise Department in Alappuzha.However, on May 28, 2025, the charge sheet presented in the Alappuzha Additional Sessions Court clarified that the actor was not involved in the case.He was neither nominated in 55 witnesses nor listed as an accused.
