Proud of grandson’s progress
Expressing pride in the progress of her grandson, the actress said, “Sara and Ibrahim are doing a wonderful job.” However, she clearly gave Ibrahim’s debut of Bollywood, ‘Nadaniyan’, an honest review, which states, “Ibrahim’s film was not good, but she still looks very beautiful. She has tried her best. These things have not actually said in front of everyone, but honestly, the picture is not great. Finally, the picture should be good.”

She further said, “Sara is a good actress. She works very hard and is able to do a lot. She will also achieve it”.
Possible last Bengali film
In an interview with PTI, Sharmila revealed that ‘Archaeavan’ could be her last Bengali film. He expressed his affection for Bengali cinema and Kolkata, but admitted that his health issues have affected his fitness, making it difficult to meet the physical demands of acting in shooting.
