IAS Association Expressed solidarity with Misri and his family through a social media post, condemning the “unfair personal attacks” on civil servants and performed his duties with integrity. The IAS Association said in a post on X, “The IAS Association stands in solidarity with Mr. Vikram Misri, Foreign Secretary, and his family. Inappropriate personal attacks on civil servants performing their duties with integrity are deeply regrettable. We confirm our commitment to maintain the dignity of public service.”The IRTS Association and the IRS (C& IT) Association similarly condemned the misuse directed on Misri and his family, which emphasized the need to maintain respect and decoration.“The IRTS Association strongly condemned unfair misuse and personal attacks against Foreign Secretary Mr. Vikram Misri and his family. We all urge them all to maintain respect and decoration, accepting their dedicated service and significant contribution to the nation,” said in a post on X.The IRS said, “The IRS (C& IT) Association Foreign Secretary Sh. Vikram Misri strongly condemns condemnable personal attacks against his family. We are standing completely in solidarity with them.Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav defended the Egyptian in a post and said that such attacks harm the morale of the dedicated officers. He also criticized the silence of the BJP government on the matter and his failure to protect the dignity of the officer.“It is the responsibility of the government to take this decision – not to individual officials.
