During a recent discussion at the Oval Office, US President Donald Trump expressed enthusiasm about the idea of facing former President Barack Obama in a fictional election scenario.
“I would love,” Trump commented on being asked about this possibility.
“I would love … it would be a good. I will like it. And no, people are asking me to run, and there is a whole story about running for a third term. I don’t know, I never paid attention to it. They say that there is a way you can, but I don’t know about it,” Trump said by Fox News.
The 22nd amendment to the US Constitution confirmed in 1951 restricts the presidents to serve more than two conditions. The amendment was presented after the chaired by the unprecedented four-term of Franklin Delano Roosevelt.
