New Delhi: Pakistan’s airlines temporarily shut down parts of the airspace over Karachi and Lahore Flight Information Areas (FIR) from May 1 to May 31, 2025 on Thursday, according to several Pakistani media reports, citing security concerns.
A notice to Airmen (NOTAM) issued by Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA) said that the nominated sections of the aircraft in these FIRs will remain closed from 4:00 am to 8:00 am.
