Russia and Ukraine accused each other of violating Easter Trus.

Kiev: Russia and Ukraine on Sunday accused each other of violating an Easter Trusteer declared by Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Ukraine President Volodimier Zelansky said that Russian forces had continued their shelling and attacks with the front line despite the announcement of Putin surprising.
The 30 -hour trussians starting on Saturday evening to mark the religious holiday will be the most important break in the fight in a three -year struggle.
But Zelancesi accused Russia that after the start of the Trus, maintained its attacks on the front line.
The Russian Ministry of Defense in turn said that it had attempted an attack by Ukraine and accused the Kiev of launching drones and shells, causing civic casualties.
Zelansky said on Sunday, citing Ukrainian commander-in-chief Olexander Surski, that “the increase in Russian shelling and the use of karissy drones has been observed since (0700 GMT)”.
Earlier, he had said that in the first six hours of the ceasefire, “387 examples shelling and 19 attacks by Russian forces” with “290 times” with drones “were used by Russians”.
The Ukraine’s Air Force, however, did not report any drone or missile attacks on Sunday morning.
AFP journalists heard the explosion from the front line in eastern Ukraine around a dozen kilometers (seven mi) on Sunday morning.
Ukraine will “symmetically” reply to any attack, Zelancesi said, “Continuing different attacks, accusing Russia of” trying to make a normal impression of a ceasefire “.
Russia’s Defense Ministry stated that “despite the announcement of the Easter Trus, Ukrainian units at night” attempted to attack its positions in the Donnetsk region, “which were canceled”.
Throughout the night, it said, Ukraine “444 times shelling … carried out 900 strikes with the status and drone of our soldiers”.
These attacks left the citizens “dead and injured”, the ministry said, without giving details.
It insisted that its soldiers had strictly visited the ceasefire and stayed in front lines and positions that they used to hold first “.
Putin’s order to prevent all the match in the Easter weekend came after months of efforts by US President Donald Trump to agree to Moscow and Kiev to the ceasefire.
On Friday, Washington also threatened to withdraw from talks, if no progress was made.
‘give Peace a chance’
Putin announced the Trus in television comments on 1800 (1500 GMT) on Saturday midnight Sunday (2100 GMT Sunday), stating that it was inspired by “human reasons”.
While he hoped Ukraine would comply with, Putin said that Russian soldiers should “be ready to oppose the possible violations of the Trus and provocation by the enemy”.
Zelansky said Ukraine would follow the suit, and proposes to expand the Truses beyond Sunday.
“Russia must fully follow the terms of ceasefire. To implement Ukraine’s proposal and expand the ceasefire for 30 days, it remains on the table tonight after midnight,” the Zelanceci’s post said on Sunday.
Earlier, he suggested that “30 days could give peace a chance”-while pointing that Putin had already rejected a proposed 30-day full and unconditional ceasefire.
‘Can’t trust Russia’
Russia began an attack on its full scale of neighboring Ukraine in February 2022.
The ceasefire for Easter in April 2022 and the previous attempts for the Orthodox Christmas in January 2023 were not implemented when the two sides failed to agree on them.
In Kiev on Sunday, as Easter Bells exit, people doubted whether Russia would inspect a truss while welcoming the Zelanceci’s proposal.
38 -year -old Olga Grechova said, “They have already broken their promises. Unfortunately, we cannot trust Russia today.”
“Our President has clearly stated that if they declare a 30-hour ceasefire, we will declare the 30-day ceasefire. So let them go for it … so that this terrible war ends, so that our people, our soldiers stop dying.”
But Natalia, a 41-year-old drug, said about the 30-day proposal of Zelansky: “Everything we offer is unfortunately, only our offers. Nobody answers them.”
On the streets of Moscow, 58 -year -old Yevgeny Pavlov did not think that Russia should give a relief to Ukraine.
“There is no need to give them relief. If we press, it means we should press to the end,” he told AFP.
