Filmmaker Rohit Shetty recently shared a stunning story from the set of his much awaited film ‘Singham AgainHe opened about individual bonds shared with some of Bollywood’s biggest stars. Speaking openly, he told how faith and loyalty still exists in the industry, even if they are rare.
During a chat on the YouTube show game changer, Rohit revealed that actress Deepika Padukone was a four -month pregnant when she came to shoot for the film. Nevertheless, his professionalism did not falter.
“There are 2-3 people (I can call at 2 o’clock). Ajay sir, Ranveer Singh, Deepika. I am very close to her. When only the last schedule of our film (Singham again) was pending, Deepika was four months pregnant. But she came for the shoot.

Rohit and Ajay’s friendship remained strong for more than three decades. It began when his father -Rohit’s father, late stuntman MB Shetty, and Ajay’s father, mythological action director Viru Devgan worked together. The bond passed to the next generation. Rohit said, “We started together. My father (Stuntman Shetty) and his dad (action director Veeru Devgan) were in the same style, he took action. Our bond is 33 years old,” Rohit said. Ajay Rohit’s hit films have been a regular regular ‘Golmaal’ series to the prestigious ‘Singham’ franchise.
Rohit escapes from test show – except Deepika
Rohit is known to leave the film trial screening and avoids like what he does not like. He opened up about why he usually asks to invite a trial show, saying it is difficult to give honest response without hurting emotions. “The invitation has stopped coming now because people know that I will not come. They have stopped completely for tests. If I do not like the film, how can I say? What I invite you, hope you say that you say that it is good. It’s deception. That’s why I am afraid of tests,” he said.
But there was an exception. In 2018, Deepika personally invited her to test ‘Padmavat’ during difficult times, and Rohit joy said yes. “The last time I went for a test, when Deepika called me for Padmavat. I really liked it.
