Rohit BasforThe hit web series ‘Family Man’ is known for its role in season 3, allegedly found dead with friends at Garbhanga Forest in Assam on Sunday evening.
According to a report by Odisha bytes, Rohit returned to his hometown a few months ago, originally as Assam. A report from various local news portals states that the actor went out with a group of friends on Sunday afternoon. He allegedly left home around 12:30 pm and allegedly informed his family about low outing.
However, concern grew when his family lost contact with him later in the day. The report said that a friend informed the family of an accident. Although Basfor was rushed to a hospital, he was declared dead on arrival.
His sudden death motivated the family to contact the SDRF, who later recovered the body and sent it for the examination. Police have confirmed that Rohit’s body has suffered several injuries. A dead body tested on Guwahati Medical College Hospital Noted that several injuries were noted on his body, including wounds on the head, face and other parts.
The report said that the family has accused the foul play. They claim that the actor was recently involved in a parking dispute, during which three persons – Ranjit Basfor, Ashok Basfor and Dharam Basfor – allegedly put their lives in danger.
The family has also nominated Amardeep, the owner of a gym, who allegedly invited Rohit to a day’s visit, which is as a person of interest.
Officials said the four accused persons are currently absconding, and an investigation is going on.
