Road Rage: E-rickshaw driver slashed Cabi’s neck

The victim, Gagandip Singh (33), left the bleeding and was seriously injured, recovering. Singh, who lives in Sector 107 of Gurgaon, stopped his car on a red light on Dabri-Dwarka Road on the way to his in-laws’ house in Vikaspuri on the night of 30 April. His mother was also in the cab.
As they were waiting at the sign, an e-rickshaw hit the car from behind. When Singh stepped out and asked the e-rickshaw driver to drive more carefully, the man started threatening him before taking out the blade hidden under his tongue and killed his neck.

The Cabi, who was injured in an incident in a road rage here, tried to reduce the situation and tried to argue with the driver of the e-rickshaw who killed his car. But instead of calming down, the accused suddenly attacked Cabi, Gagandep Singh.
Despite the bleeding, Singh managed to call the police and reached Indira Gandhi Hospital, reached for treatment on his own. Passengers who intervened rapidly in the events intervened in the matter.
He caught the attacker and took him into custody until the police arrived. The accused was later identified as Rajendra (23), a resident of Rajapuri in South -West Delhi.
A senior police officer confirmed the arrest and said that a case was registered under the appropriate sections of BNS, causing serious injuries.
The weapon used in the attack, a sharp blade, was recovered from his possession during the arrest.
The Gagandip is currently recovering from his injuries, while the police continue to investigate the background of the accused and do it have a history of the same violent behavior.
Last month, in another incident of dead road rage, a 40 -year -old motorcycle driver was killed after brushing his bike against an SUV in Ranola area of ​​West Delhi.
The 28 -year -old car driver allegedly took him to a secluded place after an argument, hit him with a brick and killed him, and then threw his body into a drain.
The body of the motorcycleist was found three days later, and the accused SUV driver was later arrested.
