Belagavi: A 28 -year -old man on Tuesday night caused a heart attack during the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) IPL victory ceremony in Buddhadi village of Mudalgi taluk.The deceased, Manjunath Irapa Kambar, a dedicated RCB supporter, fell dancing with friends at Sangoli Ranana Circle in the village during the alleged match. He was immediately taken to a private hospital in nearby Mahalingapur, but was declared dead by doctors.A passionate cricket enthusiast, Manjunath went out to celebrate the presence of RCB in the final. He arranged a large LED screen to publicly viewed and spent the last four days in preparation for the incident, allegedly left food and to ensure that everything was in place. He also bought fireworks and color powder for the festival.Manjunath was the founder of a local cricket team, which was called ‘Avardi Warriors’, who actively participated in the village level tournaments. Seeing his favorite team, the IPL Trophy sent him to a joyful frenzy, during which he fell from a cardiac arrest.Manjunath is left from his pregnant wife and six -month -old daughter. His father, Irapa, is a farmer. The news of his untimely death has put a plot on the village, with friends and family, there is a sudden loss of youth -filled youth life.
