Ravi Shastri advocated the inclusion of Sai Improvement in India’s test squad against England

Former India coach Ravi Shastri has identified the youth Gujarat Titans Batsman Sai Sudhrasan As a potential all-format player for India’s upcoming testing series against England, cited his impressive IPL performance and technical skills suitable for English conditions.
Currently with 456 runs, the second highest run-scorer Sudha in IPL 2024, has attracted Shastri’s attention to the five-testing series starting from Headingley on 20 June.

“I look at this young, Sai Reformson for all the formats of the game,” Shastri ICC told review.
Shastri said, “She looks like a class player and my eyes will definitely be on her. Being a left -handed situation in England, knowing the position of English, and just her technique, the way she plays, I think she will be at the top of the list for me, which wants to go in this side,” Shastri said.
Shastri also discussed the potential return of Shreyas Iyer in the test side, although accepted the strong competition.
Shastri said, “He (Shreyas Iyer) (can return), but it is going to be a competition again. White-ball, fixed. Test cricket, we have seen who other players are,” Shastri said.
With Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Shami returning from injuries, Shastri emphasized the need for a left -handed seamor in India’s bowling attack.
“I will be in search of a left-Bermer. I will take a look at which the left-armor is good, and try and squeeze it as the sixth (bowling) option,” said the captain of the former India.

Shastri specifically mentioned Arshdeep Singh’s ability in Test cricket, despite his white-ball expert tag.
“I will also keep a close watch on his red ball record and the number of overs bowling him.
The former coach also suggested considering other left -handed options for the tour of England.
He said, “You need a left-bormer, go and find it, whatever is and anyone who is the best-pick them up.
