According to the initial estimates shared by Sacnilk, ‘RAID 2’ almost Rs. 18.25 crores on its first day. The film featured a decent voting in theaters, with about 34.36% of the overall occupants across India. The morning show made a slow start with 21.23% occupancy, but by the end of the day, 42% of the seats were picked up by the evening and night. This solid opening determines the platform for a strong weekend, especially if the word-mouth remains positive.

‘RAID 2’ is the sequel to the 2018 hit ‘Raid’, which was based on real -life income tax since the 1980s. In this new chapter, Devgan once again stepped into the role of Ami Patnaik, the brave IRS officer is known for his nonsense attitude and strong sense of duty. Ritish Deshmukh joined artists this time as a corrupt politician, while Vani Kapoor played the role of Ama’s wife.
