In the recently shared photos by Paprazi Online, the famous producer-actor Mukesh Rishi was seen entering a simple casual dress. Jackie Shroff was also seen entering the residence of the heavenly manufacturer in a white dress. Actor Vardhan Puri chose to wear a white dress for prayer meat, while director Ashutosh Gowarikar also reached the venue to pay his honor.

During his career, Akhtar produced several notable films, such as Raja’s Aygi Baraut (1997), in which Rani Mukerji’s Hindi film was started and Chand Sa Roshan Face (2005), which introduced Tamannah Bhatia in the industry. His filmography also includes titles such as Qayamat (1983), Loha (1987), Batwada (1989), Phool and Angare (1993), and Baazi (1995).
Raj Babbar, Raza Murad, Feroz Khan and Shahbaz Khan attended Akhtar’s funeral to pay their honors.
Akhtar is alive by his wife, Shama Akhtar, and son, Samad Akhtar.
Soon after the death of famous actor and filmmaker Manoj Kumar on 4 April 2025, his passing marks a period of significant loss to the Indian film industry.
