Jammu: Poonch police said on Sunday that they have booked a person to misuse social media platforms. A policeman said, “Ajaj Ahmed, son of Mohammad Bashir Sheikh and resident of Salian-Surkot in Poonch district, was trying to reduce peace and social harmony through misuse of social media platforms.”Police said that Ahmed was kept in preventive preventive to maintain law and order in the area.“This active step highlights the firm commitment of the Ponch District Police in maintaining communal harmony, public orders and safety of all citizens,” police said, “all social media platforms are being monitored and are committed to strict action against any element trying to harass peace in the Poonch police area.”
