New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Saudi Arabia from 22 April to 23, 2025, on the invitation of Crown Prince and Saudi Arabia’s Prime Minister, his Royal Highness Mohammed bin Salman.
This will be the third official visit of Prime Minister Modi in the state after the previous visits of 2016 and 2019.
According to the Ministry of External Affairs (Mea), the background of the journey comes Crown Prince Mohammed bin SalmanState visit to New Delhi in September 2023, when he attended the G20 summit and co-headed the inaugural meeting India-Sawy Arab Strategic Participation Council,
India and Saudi Arabia shared a long-term relations contained in historical trade and socio-cultural links.
In the last decade, bilateral relations have greatly expanded various strategic fields including political cooperation, defense, security, energy, trade and investment, healthcare, education and technology.
Mea said that the Prime Minister’s upcoming visit shows the importance of New Delhi places on his relationship with Riyadh. It states that the yatra will allow both sides to strengthen their “multidimensional partnership” and discuss major regional and global development of mutual interest.
The journey is expected to focus on construction of priority and focus on construction of recent high-level exchanges.
