PM Modi, Muhammad Yunus can meet in Thailand, Dhaka says India news

Dhaka: PM Narendra Modi and Bangladesh Chief Advisor Muhammad Yunus According to a report in Younus’s office, he will interact on the margins of the Bimstec summit in Thailand on 3-4 April.

The Bangladesh summit will take over as the chairman of Bimstec. Rahman said that Yunus was commented in China with “honest intentions” about the northeastern states of India.
“If various interpretations are provided, we cannot stop it,” he said.
Sources in the Indian government said that work is still being done on Modi’s bilateral busyness. The PM held a meeting with his Thailand’s counterpart and host Petongtern Shinavatra on Thursday before attending a dinner, where he will join by the heads of other Bimstec State. The summit will be held on Friday morning. Bangladesh Foreign Secretary MD Jashim Uddin also said that Dhaka definitely expected that there would be a meeting. Myanmar’s military jute leader Min Aung Holling has also said that he has confirmed his participation in the summit. A bilateral has not been rejected with him, as Myanmar struggles to deal with a devastating earthquake last week.
Modi will also call the Thai Raja Maha Vajiralongcorn, who is also known as Ram X, and Queen Suthida on Friday.
