Pakistan’s Defense Minister wants a strong relationship with Bangladesh

Dhaka: Pakistan’s Defense Minister Khwaja Muhammad Asif underlined affection between the people of Pakistan and Bangladesh and sought strong relations with Bangladesh. Referring to cordial relations between the two countries, Asif said that the two capitals were eager to carry forward economic, political and cultural cooperation. “We give importance to our relationship with Bangladesh and are ready to deepen their engagement in various fields,” Jio News said that Asif has been said to be quoted.
He was speaking at a reception on Friday to celebrate Bangladesh’s 54th National and Independence Day as the chief guests, organized by Bangladesh High Commissioner Muhammad Iqbal Hussain Khan and his husband or wife Ruhan Nahed. The minister appreciated the progress of Bangladesh in the socio-economic sector.
He highlighted the historical and cultural relations between Pakistan and Bangladesh, as an important source of closeness between two brother -in -law countries.
